Lopi - ISTEX
ÍSTEX (Icelandic Textiles) ist die einzige Spinnerei in Island; Istex produziert Garne fürs Handstricken aus der Wolle einheimischer Schafe (lopi). Istex kauft die Wolle direkt von den isländischen Farmern und erledigt dann das Spinnen und das Färben. Der Wasch- und Kämmen Prozess wird im Norden des Landes durchgeführt und das Spinnen in der Nähe Reykjaviks.
