Lopi - ISTEX
Ístex (Icelandic Textiles) is de enigste spinnerij in IJsland. Istex produceert garen voor hand breien van de wol van autochtone schapen van het eiland (lopi). Istex koop de wol direct bij de IJslandse boeren op en voert het hele spin en kleur proces uit. Het wol wassen en borstelen word in het noorden van het eiland gedaan, het spinnen in de buurt van Reykjavik.
